The first dham en route the yatra, is situated at Yamunotri – where the
sacred river Yamuna originates. It is named after Goddess Yamuna,
the twin sister of Yama (the goddess of death). A bath in the holy
waters of Yamuna River is said to cleanse one of the all sins and
protects from untimely death. The temple houses a black marble idol
of the goddess.

Pick up in your location airport ,bus stand,railway station etc .Directly
drive to haridwar and having lunch on the way check in hotel fresh”n
up see the local sightseeing temples visit 6 p.m for ganga arti nd back
to the hotel over night stay.

Early morning drive to barkot via dehradun and mussoorie enroute
visit kempty fall ,mussoorie lake and later continue drive to barkot
check in hotel/camp .

Early morning after breakfast drive to jankichatti /phoolchatti and trek
to here yamunotri(7 km trek) (either by walk ,horse,dolly at own cost
).After taking bath in JamunaBai kund”s warm water and cook rice by
packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the water of the host kund.
Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as ‘Prasad’ . Having darshan of
“Yamunaji” return to jankichatti by trek . Overnight stay at Barkot.

Morning after breakfast drive to haridwar , late night visit local market,
there is special for colorfull glass, bangles, carved stone
idols,metalutensils ,sweets,pickles,precious stones, and ayurveda
medicines etc, back to your hotel over night stay.

Morning after breakfast transfer to delhi drop in your location
airport,bus stand , railway station etc
